Melbourne Restaurants - 01/08/2012

We are back from Melbourne which was great as always - and sunny compared with Sydney . Met with the book printer and saw “The McNeil Project “ play at a tiny theatre called “45 Downstairs” in Flinders Lane. Cumulus Inc is a good restaurant just next door to the theatre. The play was written by Jim McNeil while in Parramatta prison in the 70s. He also wrote the screenplay for “My Brilliant Career”. After release from jail he married Robin Nevin and without the structured jail life, reverted to his violent ways. A very confronting play. A bit like our...
